Welcome readers and writers to our
new online literary magazine!
We are delighted to present the Fall 2025 issue of The Lemonwood Quarterly! Eleven fantastic writers offer an exciting collection of hilarious, poignant, and thought-provoking stories. Read on, dear readers!
The Lemonwood Quarterly is excited to present high-caliber stories and plays that delve into underexplored realms of human experience. We enthusiastically offer the reader literary gems that provide fresh and authentic portrayals of characters that —due to their age and gender— historically have been depicted in one-dimensional stereotypes, if included at all. Our contributing writers have long left behind the realm of the stereotype, and skillfully delight us with their remarkably crafted stories and plays.
We welcome and encourage submissions from writers of every gender, age, race, ethnicity, sexuality, and nationality —including writers without MFA degrees or previously published work, and whose perspectives might be underrepresented in the literary world.
